Sanita Sherrise had a Love for Music at an Early Age! She grew up in Los Angeles on Rhythm and Blues with Old School. Music is her preference over TV, and Music got her through many college days and assisted with her Master Degree in Public Affairs!!

D.C. Hendrix is your midday afternoon DJ here on MIX 106. He grew up on the old-school R&B. Artists like The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye. He also takes pride in staying in touch with the new wave of artists like Usher, Lucky Daye, Chris Brown, Ella Mai and many others.
He is a family man that in his free time is either at one of his kids’ events or a concert or live sporting event. Music, family, and sports are his true passions.
After playing sports in high school, DC entered the radio business in 2014 as a studio producer for a sports radio station in Fort Wayne. Eventually, he found a newfound love for music and radio and landed his dream job with MIX 106.
He is often told he has an old soul for his age, and he takes pride in that in the way he lives his life every day in Michiana.

The Godfather Gino J. Has Been a lifetime resident Of South Bend. He’s a graduate of LaSalle High School and started dee-jaying house parties at 7 years old! He’s been on-air with Mix 106 Since 2013.
Favorite artists include Prince, Michael Jackson, P-Funk, James Brown and Cameo But he says some of the new stuff is great as well. He’s down with the blues and stepper cuts, too.
Gino is a music lover like no other. He has a record collection that extends through several decades.
Most importantly, Gino is a huge influencer in the community. He DJ’s several charity events and gives back to his community every chance he gets. That’s why they call him The Godfather of South Bend.
