Hi, I’m Brooklyne! You hear me weekday mornings from 6-10 a.m. on 97.3 WMEE. I’m a Fort Wayne native and I’m SO happy to be back in my hometown doing what I love – hosting a radio show! I’ve worked in radio since I graduated college in 2017, but started out in the news world. I also lived and worked in South Bend for a couple years before moving back to Fort Wayne in April of 2022 to work for 97.3 WMEE. I grew up listening to this station and it’s been a dream of mine to be sitting in the driver’s seat. I’m obsessed with all things pop culture, my pets (shout out Stella and Eliza) and binge-watching Netflix hits or reality TV. I’m engaged to be married to my best friend and fiancé, Josh, who also works in radio! When I get a free weekend, I love spending time with my family, hitting up the beaches along Michigan’s shore and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.

I’m a family man, a polyglot, and a car guy who loves radio! I’m extremely proud of my wife and 3 kiddos, ranging from 4 to 11 years of age. Most of my life, I’ve lived in the Midwest having grown up in the Chicagoland area with forays and sabbaticals in New Orleans, Chain of Lakes, and Toulouse, France. I went to college at IPFW here in Fort Wayne and been here since. I seek variety in life and this serves me well in radio; from foreign languages & travel (17 countries and counting!) to vintage/high performance cars & WWII history to running & weight lifting, my interests are broad and varied! My wife’s and my perfect date could be attending the Fort Wayne Philharmonic at the Embassy followed by dinner at Ruth’s Chris one week, then live music at a local, hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon, the next.  I love taking my kids to Buskerfest, TinCaps, FW Children’s Zoo, Komets, and bike riding on the River Greenway. I participate in several area 5k runs, too. My unique connection to my listeners and my advantage as a Fort Wayne radio influencer come from exploring and showcasing how my life is intertwined with those of my listeners.

Boomer

EVENINGS: Monday – Friday: 2:00Pm – 8:30pm

I'm definitely an awesome cat dad and I have socks that say it so I know it' true!  I'm Boomer, 25 years broadcast experience in Fort Wayne and northern Indiana and 30 plus years in both local and national radio.  I'm married and we have a large number of cats!  The number of cats almost rivals the number of Transformers I have.  Almost.  My wife and I are both vegan, for the animals, and have been that way for a number of years.  In addition to our fur family indoors, we take care of a large amount of outside animals that come our way, including squirrels, ducks, geese, birds, rabbits, raccoons and the occasional opossum.  In between all the feedings, I'm an inline speedskater, skating for the Asphalt Beach Speedskating Team, based in Nashville, TN.  Long distance skating is my specialty!  I've also worked for years as a certified group fitness instructor and indoor cycling instructor.  Oh, and about the Transformers.  I'm a huge fan and it's a large number of Transformers in the house.  Been rooting for the heroic Autobots against the evil Decepticons since I was a kid!
